Does my video leave my device?
No. Your video and GIF are processed locally. The website only downloads its conversion engine and the bundled demo.
Which formats work?
MP4, MOV, WebM, and M4V are accepted when your browser can preview their encoding. H.264 MP4 works well in most modern browsers.
How can I make a smaller GIF?
Choose Small, shorten the selected clip, or reduce the output width and frame rate. File size is shown after conversion.
What are the limits?
Clips can be up to 20 seconds. Input files are limited to 100 MB on desktop and 50 MB on mobile. Your device’s memory and processing power also affect conversion.
Why does the first conversion take longer?
The first conversion downloads about 31 MB of processing software. Keep this tab open while your GIF is being created.
What should I do if Create GIF does not work?
Look for the message beside the Create GIF button. The website must be reachable while the processing engine downloads. If a conversion runs out of resources, shorten the clip and choose Small. Keep the tab open until the result appears.
Can I recover a previous GIF?
The application does not store conversion history. Download the result before you close or refresh the tab. You can create it again from your original video.
